Dr. Christine Landes
Dr. Chris lives with her husband Scott and eight children in Yardley, PA. Her children attend school in the Pennsbury school district. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, and loves all things Disney! You may also catch them all cheering on the Phillies, Eagles or Flyers. Go Philly! Dr. Chris and her team are passionate about giving your child the finest dental experience ever. At Newtown Dentistry for Kids everyone works together as a family to provide a fun and personal experience. From the moment you walk into the bright, colorful setting to the miles of smiles we share, your child will become part of our family.
The amazing technology at Newtown Dentistry for Kids is made evident to you at every turn. We are the only pediatric, orthodontic practice in the area that has 3D Panorex. The X-rays produce larger images that are easy to see, and they also reduce radiation by 90 percent. Laser equipment gets rid of dental decay quickly and easily. The advanced cameras use a tiny fiber-optic wand that takes vivid photographs. This allows patients and their parents to see exactly what the staff sees.
Dr. Chris academic credentials are impressive, and they show how well qualified she is to provide the highest level of care. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and she completed her specialty training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine for Pediatrics in New York. A past president of the Montgomery Bucks Dental Society, Dr. Chris is an active member of many professional groups, including the American Dental Association, American Association of Dentistry for Children, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Pennsylvania Dental Association. She remains a member of the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Association, and the Second District Dental Society of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Chris’ commitment to the community started when she was a member of Psi Omega Fraternity, a service fraternity for dental students. Dr. Chris has been recognized by her fellow dentists for her services to the profession. She is a Committee Chair for Peer Review Board for Montgomery Bucks Dental Society, a Delegate to the Pennsylvania Dental Association (2000 to present), the Chair of National Children’s Dental Health Month (1997 to present), and elected to the International College of Dentists. She has been named one of America’s Top Dentists from 2005 to the present. In addition, Dr. Chris is a National Speaker for Child Abuse Awareness and Protection.
Dr. Randolph E. Schader
Our Newest Famliy Member! It is with great excitement that we welcome Randy Schader, D.D.S, M.S. to our Newtown Dentistry for Kids and Newtown Orthodontic family. In addition to a wealth of experience and knowledge of orthodontics, Randy will be an excellent addition to our local professional community.
Dr. Schader graduated from Temple University with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He graduated with an M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Cabrini College, received an M.S. and Orthodontic Specialty (Chief Resident in Orthodontics) from University of Florida and a BA from Washington University. He joins our practice after holding the position of Associate Program Director of Orthodontics at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Prior to his teaching position he was in private practice for many years as an orthodontist and general dentist.
We are fortunate to have his leadership skills, clinical expertise and kind and gentle nature to offer our patients. Our practice of providing comprehensive orthodontic care through meeting each patient’s personal needs is a philosophy that Dr. Schader shares. His style will complement our friendly and warm orthodontic team.
When Randy is not pursuing his passion of creating beautiful smiles, he can be found working on his property in upper Bucks County. Personal interests include gardening, reading and “all things outdoors”. With the addition of Dr. Schader, we will now be able to offer our orthodontic patients a greater choice of scheduling times during the week, and collaborate with our Newtown Dentistry for Kids schedule to provide dual appointments.
Now that we’ve moved to our new home at 46 Blacksmith Road in Newtown in spring 2014, our orthodontic team will offer the latest technology and have our own space to grow. We trust his addition will not only meet, but exceed your expectations.
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Schader to our practice!
